Congress leader Ajoy Kumar, speaking to Times Now, said different versions were coming out and there was no concrete evidence to prove a major terrorist strike was averted.
He accused the government of sensationalizing the issue.

BJP reacted very strongly to Congress charges and said the opposition party's reaction on the issue of such sensitive national security was shocking.
"It is this kind of reaction that is used by Pakistan against India," BJP leader Sambit Patra said, adding, "if Congress had any doubts it could have approached the government for details instead of raising the issue through media."

BJP leader defended the secrecy surrounding the issue and said matters of national security cannot be discussed in public.
