"Salman Khan needs to apologise to us or else we will not photo graph him. The blackout will continue till July 25 when his film 'Kick' hits theatres. We will not click him even if we see him cycling at Bandstand. Our union will take up the issue at a meeting on Monday," a photographer (name withheld on request) told Mirror last evening.

Salman's statement, "Those who want to cover the event are welcome to stay, the rest can leave if they wish," further aggravated the shutterbugs' ire.
While the film's producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala chose not to comment on the fracas and the consequent embargo on his star, a source close to the film said, "The photographers are getting more aggressive and unreasonable by the day. Interestingly, Shraddha Kapoor, who faced a similar ban a few days days, had to meet the shutterbugs to clear the "misunderstanding".
The skirmish at the centre of the ban on Salman reportedly started after the photographers requested him to pose at a particular spot and the star refused.
The resulting clash began at 10.30 pm and continued till 11 pm.
"Therefore Salman's statement that the photographers could leave if they wished. The curfew was near and time was running out," points out the source. While the photographer insists that Salman shouldn't have tuned down their simple request, the source reasons, "He would have posed, if they waited a few minutes. After all, Salman was at the event to get clicked."
