Struggling actress stripped, photographed and blackmailed

In what seems like another disgusting case of outraging the modesty of a young woman, a 23-year-old struggling actress has alleged that she had been stripped, photographed and then blackmailed.

A Mid-Day report says the young actress, who has filed a complaint with the Versova police station, alleges that she was called to a bungalow in a Mhada colony at Four Bungalows in Andheri (West) to audition for a film role. When she went at the given address two days ago, she saw that there were around seven men sitting there.

She adds that when she was inside the house, she was stripped and them photographed by those men. She was so scared that she tried to flee, but the accused stopped her and blackmailed her for Rs 1 lakh or they would circulate her pictures on the Net.

Since she was terrified, she went to the police station for help. However, when the policemen went to the bungalow it was empty. However, the police are investigating the case.
