While the most infamous participants of several seasons of Bigg Boss are remembered for their antics, there are some, who quietly witnessed all the ordeals and went on to become the winners of the past six seasons of the reality show. From being resilient, tough and to breaking down at times, the previous six winners of Bigg Boss had received much fanfare in the past. However, post the reality show, the winners chose to stay away from the limelight for reasons best known to them. While some went the family way, some are still 'struggling' for work. Here's a lowdown on the winners and what are they upto currently.

Season 1: Rahul Roy Claim to fame: Blockbuster film Aashiqui in 1990 Season 1 of Bigg Boss was won by yesteryear actor Rahul Roy. Rahul, who had emerged as a promising hero with the Bhatt film, couldn't make a mark in the industry. The reality show, Rahul claims, did not give him the kind of offers that he wanted. "One has to understand that my career started on a much higher note than Bigg Boss. So I have seen the highs and lows. But it was an amazing experience and did bolster my image among the new generation. It also depends how you come across as a person in the industry," says Rahul.

Season 2: Ashutosh Kaushik Claim to fame: Winner of Roadies 5.0, 2007 Ashutosh Kaushik, winner of the fifth season of Roadies, was a little out of the place when he entered the show. Straight from UP, it was for the first time that a reality show winner was brought into another reality show. Hailing from Saharanpur, Ashutosh acknowledges the platform he got, but admits that he did not know how to use the money. "I was a kid then and I wasn't sure what to do with `1 crore. Then, I decided, before making a career for myself, I had to marry off my sisters. After that I learnt acting for two years and started my struggle in the industry," says Ashutosh.

Season 3: Vindu Dara Singh Claim to fame: Comic roles in Hindi movies Son of yesteryear actor and wrestler Dara Singh, Vindu was hardly recognised before his stint in the show. Post winning the show, he got a few offers including some comic roles. However, his involvement in the IPL betting scandal brought him a lot of disrepute. The actor, who is currently holidaying in Finland, says, "I am on a break with my wife (Dina Umarova) and kid as we needed some time away from the negativity."

Season 4: Shweta Tiwari Claim to fame: Prerna from Kasautii Zindagii Kay, 2001 - 2008 Shweta Tiwari, popularly known as her character Prerna from Kasautii Zindagii Kay, entered the fourth season of the reality show. Her personal life was in news at that time due to her now ex-husband Raja Chaudhary, who was also a part of the second season of Bigg Boss. Though Shweta was hugely popular even before the show, she used the platform rightly to bag telly shows and work on her image. "She wanted to show the country what she was like in real life. Before that, a lot had been written about her personal life, which she obviously did not like. But, post the show, many people could relate to her and the ordeals that she underwent," says a source, close to Shweta.

Season 5: Juhi Parmar Claim to fame: Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, 2002-2009 The Kumkum of Indian television, Juhi Parmar, went on the family way post winning the show. "It was too difficult to stay and win the show, but I must say, it was lifetime experience for me. Bagging offers post BB was not my cup of tea as I wanted to start a family soon and enjoy motherhood. Now, I am too busy with my nine month old daughter Samaira and will probably make a comeback in the next one year," shares Juhi.

Season 6: Urvashi Dholakia Claim to fame: Komolika from Kasautii Zindagii Kay, 2001 - 2008 Like Juhi and Shweta, Urvashi's calm and straightforward attitude helped her win the sixth season, despite strong competition. Though she received a lot of positive feedback, Urvashi chose to devote her time to her 18-year-old sons, who had their board exams that year. "I have never used anything as a platform. I was an established name before BB, and it is not like I won an Oscar. So my career was exactly the way it was. Yes, I was flooded with offers, but I chose not to take them, since I wanted to be with my sons for their exams. I realised that they needed me more and I wanted them to be my priority," she shares.
