The fashion world too has fallen in love with the teenager who has been stepping out with her mum and dad in the world of glamour pretty often lately. After her appearance at a recent fashion event alongside mum Sri, Jhanvi has apparently been showered with a lot of ramp offers along with the appreciative comments.
Though films are still a far way off for Sri's little daughter, the 'strict' mother who had once claimed, "When she completes her studies, ideally I would like her to get married and settle down," seems to have changed her mind
after Monday night."She is only 15. Give her some space to make up her mind about what she wants to do with her life. I know these days kids know their minds very soon in life. But Jhanvi is at the moment studying. I'd like her to finish formal education before she chooses her career," she
told TOI.Having said that, Sri added, "It's ( Bollywood) a beautiful industry. If either of my daughters choose to be in the industry, I'd be most happy." According to daddy Boney Kapoor, Jhanvi's appearance on Monday got noticed by many. "It
got me quite a lot of appreciative comments from the tall ladies in high heels on the ramp. As far as I'm concerned, ramp-walking is where the limelight ends for Jhanvi for now. She is too young to be pursuing a career right now. We want her to concentrate on her studies first," he told us.He even claimed that acting was never a taboo for the women in the Kapoor clan. "Every child in our family, male or female, is free to pursue any career," he said.
Does that mean we will get to see Sridevi's li'l one on the big screen soon? Only time will tell.
